Megan Thee Stallion has released the video for “Whenever,” her first solo single of 2025. The new song comes with a video that taps into the song lyrics (“It’s whenever, bitch, it’s whatever, ho”) with a series of vignettes in which she crashes her way into a waiting room, once via an over-sized pool cue and again through a fish tank. Check it out below.

“Whenever” represents the start of a new artistic era for Megan, who released her latest album Megan last year. She has spoken to fans on social media about an album she is calling Act: III and recently revealed that she’s hoping to work with Doechii, who is on her “album wish list,” as part of the project.

In January the Houston rapper marked a significant landmark in her ongoing legal battle with Tory Lanez when she was granted a restraining order by a Los Angeles court. The following month it was confirmed that a judge will allow attorneys representing Megan to question Lanez under oath from prison in connection to Megan’s ongoing lawsuit against internet personality Milagro Cooper.

Earlier this month Megan performed at Coachella. During weekend one of the festival she brought out special guests including Ciara, Victoria Monét, and Queen Latifah. The latter jumped on stage to perform “Plan B” and her own 1993 song “U.N.I.T.Y.”
