FENDI and Stray Kids’ leader, Bang Chan, have solidified their ongoing collaboration with the release of the new single, “Roman Empire.” The Brand Ambassador of the Maison wrote, composed, and produced the track, which celebrates the shared spirit of excellence and creativity between the global artist and the luxury house.
Filmed at FENDI’s Rome headquarters, the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, the accompanying music video masterfully connects the brand’s Roman heritage with Bang Chan’s unique artistic vision. The track pays homage to FENDI’s timeless icons, including the Peekaboo bag and the signature “F” logo, reimagining them through the language of music.
“A song about FENDI. It compares love to the eternity and grandeur of the Roman Empire, weaving symbols of the Maison — such as the iconic Peekaboo bag and the signature ‘F’ logo – into the lyrics to reinterpret Rome’s heritage in a modern way,” said Bang Chan. He added, “The track blends smooth, emotional vocals with dreamy synths, layered over a powerful kick-driven rhythm, creating an R&B/Miami Bass sound.”
Check out the teaser below. The official music video for ‘Roman Empire’ will debut on November 3rd at 6:00 p.m., with a special premiere at K-pop Square’s mega screen in COEX.
