RXKNephew has dropped a John Fetterman diss track

The increasingly despised senator from Pennsylvania has attracted the ire of Siltherman.
If you’re slightly tapped into the Sturm und Drang of American politics, you’re probably familiar with John Fetterman. Before he was elected the Democratic Senator from Pennsylvania, Fetterman first grew a national profile as the Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania; after Trump’s 2016 election, Fetterman positioned himself as a Bernie Sanders-adjacent politician who could address the anxieties of the white working class which had swung dramatically in Trump’s direction. Democrats bought what he was selling and nominated him to run for senate in 2022, a race he managed to win even after suffering a severe stroke that affected his ability to communicate and led to severe mental health struggles.
After winning in 2022, a switch flipped, and Fetterman became one of the Democrat’s most conservative voices. He is one of Israel’s staunchest public defenders even as criticism mounted over its bloodthirsty military campaign in Gaza, has frequently mocked or attacked those who have protested Israel’s genocidal actions, and has aligned himself with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Fetterman has also expressed support for other right wing causes, including bombing Iran and Trump’s hardline immigration policies. His heel turn has led to a heavy and consistent exodus of staffers — some of whom have gone on the record to express concerns about Fetterman’s mental health, detailing disturbing allegations of erratic behaviour and dangerous driving.
TLDR: Fetterman’s an evil politician who has pissed off a lot of extremely online left-leaning people. Some of these people are also extremely online rap fans. Last month, that intersection merged into one beautiful tweet inspired by Fetterman’s demonic side and the equally evil Slitherman character immortalized in “Slitherman vs Nephew” by RXKNephew:
That post didn’t go wildly viral on Twitter, but I have a hard time believing that Nephew didn’t see it, since last week he released a song called “John Fetterman.” Neph probably doesn’t know too much about Fetterman, either: he references Fetterman’s height and baldness, but the closest thing that comes to a direct diss is, “Tell Fetterman he could suck my dick / I take that back, I don’t want him to do that.” Neph’s energy seems focused on replayability, choosing a baile funk-inspired house beat and crafting a catchy hook that includes the line, “Walk in get lit at a Democrat party / Get a bitch pregnant at a Republican party.” As far as diss tracks go, I can honestly say that Fetterman deserves much, much, much worse.
