It looks like Chappell Roan is finally releasing “The Giver”

A new hotline offers fans the chance to hear a preview of the country pop song.

A new hotline shared by Chappell Roan features a preview of her song “The Giver,” suggesting the song is set to be officially released. “The Giver” was first performed by Roan during her appearance on Saturday Night Live in November last year.

Roan posted a cryptic phone number on her Instagram Stories and fans who call it are greeted with snippets of the song. Dialling “620-468-8646” (or “620-HOT-TOGO”) gives callers a a series of options: pressing one to book “an appointment with a dentist”, two to “reach an attorney”, three is to report a “plumbing issue” and so on. Behind each extension is a new clip of “The Giver.” Naturally, all of these previews have been posted online by Roan stans.

“The Giver” will be Roan’s first new music since she dropped “Good Luck, Babe” in 2024.

Earlier this month Roan appeared at the Grammys, where she performed live and later took home the award for Best New Artist. During her speech she called on major labels to support artists with healthcare. In the days after the ceremony Roan, alongside Charli xcx and Noah Kahan, pledged their own money to help uninsured musicians.
