Lucy Dacus wants to officiate your wedding

In case the court house doesn’t sound appealing.

Lucy Dacus will be officiating weddings from the stage during her upcoming Forever is a Feeling tour dates. Fans can apply for consideration via a Google form available on her Instagram and website.

Dacus took to Instagram to share the news, writing, “I can think of all sorts of reasons people may be interested in securing the rights granted through marriage (you know what I mean?), so if you’ve had it in mind forever or are just recently making the decision, I will be honored to do the honors!”

The opportunity to get married during her tour will be available during all 28 upcoming shows in the U.S., beginning with her Philadelphia stop on July 25 and concluding in Columbia, Maryland on September 27. Just be sure to have the proper documents ahead of time and, unfortunately, this opportunity will only be available for her U.S. shows.

If chosen, fans can bring their marriage license to the box office before their show and pick it up after as newlyweds.

Dacus released Forever is a Feeling, her fourth studio album, in March. In the four years since her last solo project, 2021’s Home Video, she was busy working and touring as a member of the indie supergroup boygenius, which won three Grammy awards in 2024.

She kicked off the “Forever is a Feeling” tour, her largest to date, in spring of 2025 and soon announced additional dates throughout the summer.
