FKA twigs teases her second album of 2025

Eusexua Afterglow is due imminently.

FKA twigs appears to have a whole new project’s worth of new music on the horizon. The singer dropped her most recent album, Eusexua, in January and has been touring it around the world in the subsequent months. During a recent performance at the Dutch festival Lowlands, twigs told the audience that they can soon expect to hear a new album titled Eusexua Afterglow.

“I am full and abundant and ready to give birth,” she said from the stage. “Her name is Afterglow, and my labor shall commence next month.”

Representatives for FKA twigs confirmed to Pitchfork that Eusexua Afterglow is “not a deluxe version, but rather a whole new album.” A release date beyond “next month” has yet to be confirmed.

twigs had previously suggested that she would release a deluxe edition of Eusexua, rather than a wholly new album. Prior to releasing “Perfectly” in July, she told fans on social media: “if EUSEXUA was the tip of the tongue, PERFECTLY is the oesophagus…” She also hinted that she was working on an expansion of the album during an appearance on Therapuss with Jake Shane where she revealed that “Perfectly” would feature.

In other FKA twigs news, it was confirmed on Thursday that she will replace Doechii on the line-up at London’s All Points East festival. Doechii pulled out of three European shows, including Forwards Bristol and Rock en Seine in Paris, without explanation. Twigs joins the August 23 APE line-up alongside Tyla, JADE, Jyoty, Nao, Montell Fish, and headliner RAYE.
