Is there a trailer for The End of an Era?
When will Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era be available to stream?

The first two episodes of the series will be available from December 12. Two more episodes will drop on December 19 with the series concluding a week later, on December 26.

The series is described as tracking the “development, impact, and inner-workings” behind the record-breaking world tour, which earned Swift a reported gross of over $2 billion.

In a statement shared on Instagram, Swift made referenc to “all the stories woven throughout [Eras] as it wound down”, which could mean the series also covers the making of her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, which was made during the European leg of the tour.

And what about the Eras Tour live recording?

Also arriving on December 12 will be Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show, a full concert film recorded at BC Place in Vancouver on December 8, 2024. “It was the End of an Era and we knew it,” Swift wrote on Instagram, announcing the series and film. “We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives.”

Isn’t there already an Eras tour recording on Disney+?

Yes, but in the spirit of Swift’s vinyl variants, why not have more? A filmed version of the tour, entitled Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, arrived in October 2023 but that was prior to the release of Swift’s 2024 album, The Tortured Poets Department. The newly announced recording will feature the most up-to-date version of the Eras tour.
